That sucks, sorry to hear that man. I've been fortunate enough for my computer not to get a virus yet, but ya never know. Also, you mentioned losing a lot of sounds; there's a great site for getting sound effects that I know of called: <a href="http://www.soundsnap.com">www.soundsnap.com</a>. Give it a try, and good luck with your future endeavors.

oh snap....
once i came back from holidays and my hard disk was broken down for some reason... i've also lost all my files, work, music and 3GB SOUNDS!
oh my god i was really sad about that but w/e, i know how you're feeling...
another good side: NG has all the uploaded files which have been deleted so we can still se them! :D

Do what I did beforeI switched to XP, grab an c-d and put every flash files in it. (hope it'll do.)

if u have the same thing that i have then its not a virus dude.
hopefully this review will help you. it has happened to me twice which i
can blame on crapppy electricity at my apartment which went out 2 times in a year.
then my computer restarted constantly,

the solution was pressing and holding F8 before the comp starts and running it in safe mode which then u can access files and such,
you can do a system restore or u can just turn it of normally and turn it back on and WALA!

if the problem persists do a system restore which wont affect ure files.
pm me if u dont get wat im saying.

i have more options but i dont know if ure computer still keeps turning on and off or wat. more info and i might post again.

well, that sucks. D: im glad your lookin on the bright side of all this :3 and im glad you get a new start! but you learned a lesson and thats pretty good :3 a similar occurance happened to me abotu a year ago and i started over. now im pretty damn good :P just dont stop animating. whatever you do
